Winemaker Note:
In 2024, we ended up with a small lot of Sangiovese from Williamson Vineyard and were inspired to make an Italian-style blend—more specifically, a Super Tuscan. A Super Tuscan is a modern Italian blend that typically combines Sangiovese with non-traditional varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon or Syrah, resulting in wines that are often richer and more structured than classic Italian styles.
Aged in neutral oak barrels to keep the focus on the fruit, we aimed for an approachable yet sophisticated blend.

Tasting:

Bright red fruit and tart cherry lead, with darker, juicier fruit coming through on the palate. There’s a nice balance between freshness and depth—herbal notes from the Sangiovese layered with subtle structure and spice from the Syrah and Cabernet. It stays lively and approachable while still offering enough weight and complexity to feel complete.

Pairing:
This is built for classic Italian-style meals—perfect with spaghetti, lasagna, or anything with a tomato-based sauce. It also pairs well with pizza, grilled meats, or dishes with herbs like basil and oregano. Easygoing enough for a weeknight dinner, but structured enough to handle something a little more serious.
