2023 TRESSÉ GSM
FIELD BLEND
DOUBLE GOLD - 2025 PACIFIC NW WINE COMPETITION
Harvest and Production
Tresse is a true field blend, harvested on October 10, 2023, from vineyards in the Snake River Valley. Syrah came from Skyline, while Mataro, Grenache, and a touch of Viognier were picked from Sawtooth. Everything was co-fermented together from day one.
Fermentation included 36% whole cluster, with the remainder destemmed. The must spent 16 days on skins before pressing. The wine was aged 11 months in French oak—67% second-fill, 22% new, and 10% neutral.
Cases Produced: 105
Tasting Notes
Bright, precise, and seamless. Red fruits lead—blood orange, cherry, and raspberry—supported by Syrah’s darker spice and Mataro’s earthy structure. Viognier brings a subtle floral lift and a touch of stone-fruit roundness. Medium-bodied with clean acidity, fine tannin, and a lightly peachy finish that lingers.
